    Demand Planning Analyst

    This role owns, lead and manage the demand planning process for its market. Lead the implementation of the Global demand Planning template collaborating within the market to ensure that the most relevant data and business intelligence is used to generate the most accurate demand forecast and responds quickly to demand signals maximizing service levels. Lead the overall market demand planning process ensuring timely availability and accuracy of the plans based on a statistical baseline and market intelligence collected from the various key stakeholders in the market (Finance, BDP, Commercial etc). Ensures that new product introductions are timely reflected into the demand plans while meeting service, cash and cost targets by collaborating with the Global Category Team and Customer Service. Assist and support the manager S&OP in preparation and facilitation of market S&OP, identifying main drivers, opportunities and risks while ensuring the outcome is seamlessly integrated into the subsequent supply chain planning processes. Responsible for forecasting performance, process excellence, continuous improvement and adherence/implementation of global standards and reporting requirements.

    Experience & Education

    •  Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related fields
    •  APICS certification and/or certification in Business Forecasting & Planning (IBF) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification are a plus
    •  6+ Years of experience within FMCG, Electronics or Medical Device industry with experience in forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, Sales & Operations Planning and data analytics.
    •  Working knowledge of SAP, Supply Chain Planning Solutions and Forecasting Solutions (E2OPEN suite is a strong plus)
    •  Fluent in English

    Principal Accountabilities

    •  Lead the implementation of the Global demand Planning template collaborating within the market to ensure that the most relevant data and business intelligence is used to generate the most accurate demand forecast and responds quickly to demand signals maximizing service levels.
    •  Define with the key stakeholders the process steps, inputs and outputs, the process drumbeat, the in-process measures, KPIs, forecasting targets, RACI and Business Continuity Plan. Formalize the set up and set of rules in the Market Operating Strategies that will be tracked and maintained up-to-date.
    •  Drive the forecasting process for the market to meet and beat forecast accuracy objectives by Coordinating the generation and maintenance of an 18 months rolling forecast following a precise planning drumbeat
    •  Ensure use & maintenance of the Digital Planning solution and master data to guarantee the efficiency of the process through automation
    •  Ensure identification of demand plan variations and exceptions
    •  Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
    •  Ensure efficient management of phase-in phase-out in terms of cash, cost and service
    •  Ensure Market Intelligence is properly collected, integrated and maintained from the relevant stakeholders following a precise drumbeat for all markets & products in scope
    •  Manage business issues, their resolutions and follow up
    •  Identify forecast risks and opportunities.
    •  Assist and support the preparation of the market S&OP meetings.
    •  Advise Customer Service (Regional, local) of variances between existing forecasts, plans, actuals, budgets.
    •  Drive alignment of plans and/or corrective actions in forecasting that will improve our supply chain metrics in the area of cost, cash and services.
    •  Report on forecasting performance through standard KPIs, dashboard and reporting.
    •  Monitor the demand planning metrics and use root cause analysis to resolve largest gaps.
    •  Provide input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory and service level target on existing and new products
    •  Collaborate with the Global Category Team, Regional Customer Service and Markets to manage products lifecycle.
    •  Ensure specific care for new product introduction by aligning plans with the different stakeholders, assessing their impact in terms of service, cash and cost.
    •  Ensure the plans are reflect into the market forecast, follow up and monitor their execution.
    •  Report on plan performance vs. actuals, previous forecast, budget.
    •  Drive, Demand Planning process excellence, continuously improve the forecasting process and tools by collecting business requirements and ensure adherence/implementation of global standards and reporting requirements.
    •  Standard, Improvement Processes and Systems
    •  In collaboration with COE the preparation, deployment, and utilization of the PMI standard operating guidelines & systems considering the nature of each type of products transported & stored; to guarantee their quality, EHS&S precautions are taken and are in-line with local legislations / regulations.
    •  Develop and implement standards working procedures, operating guidelines & systems
    •  Drive the drumbeat process and ensure adherence to it
    •  Ensure all documentation and transactions in the systems are done accurately and on-time. Actively participate or initiate improvement programs; evaluate, analyse, and implement alternatives; in order to improve consumers (internal and external) service levels at optimal cost.
    •  Relentlessly look for and explore any opportunities by keeping abreast of new industry/technological development applicable to Logistic and Distribution and maintain a strong and regular communication with PMI and other affiliates.
    •  Take a leadership role in pioneering, testing and proposing new opportunities and when successful ensure the sharing across PM
    •  Budget, reporting and controlling
    •  Lead periodical (i.e. monthly) tracking of the performance of Department by setting clear KPIs; and drive the generation of ideas / solutions for further optimization, streamlining and standardization.
    •  Closely work with Finance to periodically track the actual spend vs. budget, identify possible deviations, propose corrective measures. Inform Management in case of risk or significant deviation in line with PMI policies.
    •  Organize, manage, staff and develop a motivated, skilled, and optimally resourced team to ensure that performance levels and professional development will achieve or exceed business objectives.
