Deputy Director: HRU& CD at Mpumalanga Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport

Requirements: 

• Grade 12 Certificate plus a B-tech / B Degree in Human Resource Management/Development/Public Management/Administration (NQF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA), plus 3 years’ work experience as an Assistant level. Experience in the field of Human Resource Management. Valid drivers’ licence, Persal and computer literacy are essential.

Responsibilities:

•  Manage induction programmes, i.e., BB2E, Orientation, re-orientation Compulsory Induction Programmes). Manage leadership, internships, and apprenticeship programmes. 
•  Coordinate training and development of employees. Implement a performance management system. Coordination and development of the district workplace skills Programmes. Conduct a skills audit in the districts. Management of risks, budget, expenditure, human resources, strategic planning, and audit issues.
