We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a leading company within the mining and construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repair of a wide range of earthmoving equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Diesel Mechanic with a recognised Trade Test and Red Seal certification
Minimum 3–5 years' experience working on earthmoving equipment in the mining and/or construction industry
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Experience working on equipment such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, graders, dozers, and other heavy machinery
Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
Valid driver's licence
Willingness to travel to various sites when required

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on earthmoving equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently
Complete job cards and maintenance reports accurately
Minimise equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures
