Diesel Mechanic

- We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Lanseria
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Experience working on Scania trucks.
- Experience working on MAN trucks.
- Experience working on trailers and trailer-related mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of truck air-brake and air systems.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
- Must have own tools and heavy-duty mechanical tools.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
- Willingness to work weekends, standby, and respond to emergencies.
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Reliable, hardworking, able to work independently.
- Focus on safety, quality work, and preventative maintenance.
Working Details:
- Salary Package/Stipend Offered: R15000
- Working Hours: Mon - Friday (07:30 - 17:30). Occasional after-hours and Saturday work.
- Standby required every second weekend.
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Workplace Location: Lanseria
- Driver's Licence Requirement: Code 8 (if applicable)
