    Digital and Social Media Specialist

    Job Description

    • Responsible and driving the company’s digital marketing platforms and creating fresh new content for each platform; developing and implementing digital and social media campaigns and assist in coordinating through-the-line campaigns.

    Digital & Social Media Specialist Job Duties:

    • Own and execute the digital and social media content strategy that aligns with the company's objectives (Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn)
    • Develop a compelling brand-aligned content calendar to ensure consistent, engaging content across all social media channels throughout the year.
    • Proactively identify emerging social media trends leveraging them to create engaging content that drives reach and interaction across platforms.
    • Demonstrated experience in planning, setting up and optimising paid social media campaigns across Meta platforms with a strong understanding of audience targeting, budget allocation, performance tracking and campaign reporting.
    • Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites.
    • Write compelling copy tailored to each social media platform.
    • Manage the creation of entertaining and informative content for social media in collaboration with in-house designers.
    • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics to optimise content performance.
    • Managing social media advertising performance and analyse web traffic to inform strategy.
    • Identify and execute new opportunities to generate leads and boost conversions.
    • Produce and monitor both external and internal social media advertising schedules.
    • Conceptualise and execute the organization’s online media campaigns including influencer campaigns.
    • Assist with sourcing digital asset from studio and disseminating them to the broader team to ensure the organisations website and App are correctly updated.
    • Support the broader marketing team with digital communications and advise on digital marketing opportunities.
    • Assist with gathering stats and insights for monthly and MANCO reports.
    • Manage the company’s website and App content ensuring marketing assets are uploaded and maintained timeously.
    • Regularly update all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
    • Manage all studio assets and marketing assets ensuring marketing assets are available for paid and organic campaigns.

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communication

    Experience and Knowledge of:

    • 3-5 years working experience as an Account Executive at an Agency or digital content coordinator
    • Proven expertise in paid social media campaigns especially across Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), including campaign setup, audience targeting, budgeting, A/B testing, and optimization to drive performance and ROI.
    • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube) including their algorithms, content formats, analytics, and publishing tools.
    • Experience using Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other relevant digital advertising and reporting tools.
    • Solid understanding of content planning and execution, including developing content calendars, briefing creative teams and adapting messaging for various channels.
    • Experience managing or updating on CMS platforms.
    • Experience with influencer marketing, community engagement, and online brand reputation management.
    • Excellent copywriting and visual communication skills, with a strong grasp of brand tone and audience engagement.

    Skills:

    • Excellent written & verbal skills in English
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and teams
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Content creation and scheduling across social platforms
    • Community Management
    • Knowledge of platform algorithms and trends.
    • Blog/copy writing (added advantage).
    • Experience with paid media campaigns (especially Meta)
    • Creative eye and strong attention to detail.

    Systems:

    • Google Analytics and social media analytics tools.
    • Social media platforms for business (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc)
    • SEO optimization knowledge
    • CMS tools (e.g. Drupal, WordPress, Expression Engine)
