    Digital Customer Activations Support

    About role:

    The Digital Customer Activations Support will play an integral role in supporting and implementing all overarching strategies for Revlon’s fast-growing ecommerce and digital business across the Revlon brands. Through support of optimizing all digital touch points and ecommerce consumer activations to drive customer acquisition, build brand advocacy and deliver conversion, in order to increase sales and gain market share whilst maintaining and protecting internal customer profitability levels. This role will also provide support and assistance to the Head of Digital Marketing - Ecommerce in the day-to-day management of the digital, social and ecommerce areas of the business

    Education and Experience:

    • Matric
    • B.Comm, BA Marketing, IMM Diploma or similar Digital Diploma
    • Minimum of 3 years Digital, eCommerce, Marketing experience
    • Experience within the cosmetics/personal care industry advantageous
    • Understanding of media/retail industry markets

    About you – to be successful in this role:

    • Highly computer literate in MS Office including proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint
    • Strong proficiency in a variety of social media platforms including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok
    • Experience with website maintenance and social media content management platforms such as Sprinklr, Social Studio or Hootsuite advantageous
    • Experience in Adobe Photoshop preferable
    • Valid driver’s license and own transport
    • Ability to travel if and when required

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support innovative and value-added digital marketing programmes with the emphasis on maximizing both brand and programme sell-thru and presence online and oversee the implementation of these programmes.
    • Support conversion to drive sales through tactical partnership marketing across site advertising, e-CRM/CRM, influencer activations and social.
    • Maximize on NPD’s and promotions and be responsible for our digital shelf across e-tailers and pure players to ensure the brand & consumer experience (UX) is optimized at every point.

    Support digital strategy plans:

    • In conjunction with the key stakeholders ensure execution of selected appropriate omni -channel online programmes for each retailer are implemented
    • Close on-going monitoring of online competitive activity
    • Close liaison with sales team including regular presentations at retailer and internal sales meetings on programme updates.
    • Regular analysis and appraisal of the programmes and performance against sales and financial plans leading to recommendations for change if required
    • Inputting weekly retail sales data into the retail trackers for further analysis
    • Sales analysis for new product launches/marketing & promotional activities

    Ecommerce

    • Continuous liaising with relevant teams for the uploading and maintenance of products and assets on brand sites
    • Maintain updated master and retailer listing documents, and image libraries for all online products and digital artwork
    • Drive and ensure brand consistency on all digital customer platforms with adhoc website audits to ensure all information is correct and up to date
    • Together with respective sales or key accounts members, liaise with retailers for online listing and merchandising, inclusive of enhanced creative copy and assets,
    • Work with customer marketing and sales teams to provide content for retailer campaigns ensure of sending images / product copy / videos for new product launches
    • Daily checks on the key Pure Play and e-tailer websites to ensure correct brand store execution and marketing/promotional activity is adhered to
    • Tracking brand visibility on the key websites, cataloging a detailed record of brand exposure

    Social Media

    • Manage a positive and relevant public image across all digital platforms
    • Create and implement monthly always on social content calendars that drive awareness, provide value, prompt engagement and drive conversion to retailers
    • Liaise with external parties for community management across all platforms
    • Collate social metrics for compiling monthly and quarterly reports

    Agencies & Campaigns

    • Liaise with PR agency to brief, conceptualise and execute relevant influencer campaigns
    • Liaise with digital agency to brief, conceptualise and execute digital media campaigns
    • Brief artwork requests into global or local agencies for use across multiple platforms
    • Assist with writing or reworking copy and formulating assets for use across campaigns
    • Liaise with external parties to brief social content shoots
    • Ensure all agency CEs and invoices are managed and submitted in a timely manner, aligned to scope of work and budget allocations

    Financial & Budgeting

    • Manage budgets and update recons to ensure alignment with planned expenditure
    • Ensure all CEs and invoices from suppliers are received, approved by management and submitted on time in accordance with monthly budgets

    General

    • Provide general administrative support as needed
    • Assist with the consolidation and preparation of various monthly reports and feedback for the digital and ecommerce portfolios
    • Work closely with various functions within the business (e.g. Marketing, PR, Sales, HR, Supply Chain and Finance) to ensure alignment and understanding of the broader business vision, mission and strategic objectives.
    • Raising and tracking of purchase orders
