Our client, one of Africa’s first premium wellness retail brands, is currently looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to help bring their concepts and ideas to life. The core concept for the brand is to create the next generation of wellness rituals, engineered by nature to restore balance.

Experience in graphic design is essential, in order to meet deliverables. This role requires a creative individual with a key eye for detail and who can communicate concepts clearly. The intent is to achieve differentiation in the market with high quality content purposed for digital distribution, your role will include but not limit to:

•  Website collateral – Banners, promo slots
•  Display ads – Google display network etc.
•  Bulk and transactional email templates
•  Social media post designs and photo retouching

Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Degree or diploma in brand communication, advertising or marketing Strong bias towards or an elective in graphic / multimedia design
• Strong communication and good articulation skills, some copywriting experience will be advantageous
• Digital UI design experience
• Design for advertising online - Social media, Google display network, email
• Web use / customer analytics such as Google analytics / mixpanel
• Online content management systems - WordPress or similar
• Video scripting and basic editing will help, although not a required skill

Reporting to Head of Digital, your responsibilities will include:

•  Through targeted campaigns online, assist in creating awareness of the wonderful medicinal properties of Cannabis
•  Assist in digital media planning and creative execution
•  Designing display ad creatives as per defined campaigns
•  Designing and compiling transactional emails based on user behaviour on various online platforms
•  Design and manage visual assets on websites via content management systems
•  Product pack shots
•  Campaign banners
•  Product use images and videos
