Digital Marketing Internship 2026/2027 at Oxford University Press Southern Africa

Principal Accountabilities:

• Assist with the execution & implementation of a variety of digital marketing and social media campaigns
• Develop creative and copy assets for digital and social channels
• Assist with upkeep of digital platform hygiene across emailer platforms, Wordpress, and WhatsApp for Business to name a few
• Co-own the social media marketing monitoring and reporting process, i.e. input into local and global reporting
• Own the ongoing and consistent updating of competitor audits & analysis and wider trends in the education sector

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Enrolled for BSocSc / BA / BCom / BTech. With Marketing subjects, preferable
• Interest in the Education sector
• South African citizen
• Computer literate
• Excellent writing and strong communication skills
• Experience using design tools (i.e. Canva), preferable
• Understanding of website development and coding, advantageous
• Previous practical experience in a Marketing environment and/or exposure to Marketing function, advantageous
