Collaborate with marketing and business teams to create digital marketing strategies that promote the bank's products and services.
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive business results.
Monitor campaign performance, analyse key metrics and optimise campaigns based on data and insights.
Work closely with Absa’s Design Office and UX/UI designers to optimize Country websites for user experience and conversion rate optimization.
Use web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics) to track and report on website traffic, user behaviour and campaign effectiveness.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on digital marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with Countries to develop appropriate KPI’s and measurement frameworks to evaluate the impact of key projects.
Support in defining the digital marketing budgets and monitoring spend to ensure effectiveness use of budget.
Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
Identify new digital marketing opportunities and trends to ensure the bank remains competitive.
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend ways to increase operational efficiencies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or NQF 7 level equivalent
2 – 5 year’s experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist with a focus on digital campaign execution and optimization
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tactics, and strategies.
Proficiency in using digital marketing tools such as Google/Adobe Analytics, SEO tools, social media management platforms, email marketing software and marketing automation platforms.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with optimising web content.
Familiarity with paid advertising digital platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with regional cross-functional stakeholders, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptability and willingness to learn and keep up with industry changes.
Additional Requirements:
Certification in digital marketing (e.g. Google Ads, Google/Adobe Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint, Hootsuite).
Understanding of cultural nuances and market dynamics across various African regions is a plus.
