    Digital Program Manager

    Purpose Of The Position

    The Digital Program Manager supports the implementations to Distell’s Digital Transformation initiatives, and is responsible for the driving of the Digital Transformation Strategy as well as the associated project benefit realization.

    Key performance areas would include, but are not limited to:
    Effectively manage and participate in Digital Transformation initiatives

    • Design and delivery of initiatives and integration of project plans to deliver against the Digital Transformation strategy
    • Design and delivery of sub-streams of initiatives where required
    • Assess and facilitate prioritisation of the projects to be delivered based on business requirements and strategy
    • Manage interdependencies of Digital initiatives with other projects within the broader business.
    • Assure the delivery of benefits are aligned to the project and overall objectives

    Drive effective governance of Digital Transformation initiatives

    • Tracking and reporting on the progress of projects within the Digital Transformation scope
    • Development and implementation of a structured communication plans re progress of projects
    • Assuring project management governance is in place (planning, budgeting, timing, risk management, etc.) for all initiatives

    Delivering excellent customer service through project delivery

    • Provide a high standard of customer service to all internal, external customers and work partners throughout the project duration
    • Handling project related matters professionally and confidentially at all times

    Drive continuous improvement

    • Identify and implement new ideas and improved methods, systems and work processes which lead to higher quality, better results at same or reduced cost

    The Successful Candidate Must Have The Following Experience/skills

    • A relevant and recognised degree.
    • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in a program and/or digital environment.
    • Experience of the management of digital / technology programmes and projects
    • Ability and willingness to be agile and fulfil any role on a project to ensure delivery
    • Ability to learn quickly and to adjust approach where necessitated by the business
    • Advanced understanding of the wider digital, commercial and business implications
    • Experience of programme and change management methods and tools
    • Understanding of the industry landscape (clients, trends and challenges in the industry);
    • Ability to work on a team, integrating with the client account team, the digital business units and other diverse organizations;
    • Ability to work independently and with others.
    • Strategic/action orientation, self-driven and innovative.
    • Excellent communication verbal and written skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate with persuasion at senior management level.
    • Ability to write comprehensive reports
    • Ability to manage projects successfully.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively
    • Good knowledge and insight in the Distell value chain would be advantageous
