    Digital Sales Customer Experience Specialist

    Type of Position:

    Based in Sandton, the successful incumbent is responsible to implement, manage and measure digital strategies which will enhance the customer experience across sales channels and touch points in order to build brand perception and elevate customer confidence and trust which result in increased sales for the business.

    Job Description and Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Sales to set in place project plans and timelines to implement digital strategies.
    • Understated sales process and operations and seek to improve efficiency through digitalization.
    • Contribute towards sales strategic thinking and implementation within the sales business.
    • Implement digital project across the organization that improve customer experience and/ or drive efficiencies within the business.
    • Lead, project manage and report within an agile work process.
    • Consistently evaluate and improve the sales customer journey.
    • Engage with business departments required to implement digital projects – CTI, VW IT, and Marketing etc.
    • Work collaboratively, cross divisionally and cross department to ensure an effective digitalization effort based on sound strategic planning and achievement of business imperatives.
    • Collaboration and information sharing on global digital initiatives e.g. “Digital in Sales” (D!S).
    • Collaborate with Network management in support of the global Digital showroom program.
    • Support and Implement e-Commerce strategies within the sales channel.
    • Develop and implement brand strategies within the Salesforce platform.
    • Engage with sales team to identify areas of improvement within the business.
    • Develop communication and change management plans to instill adoption and handovers of digital projects to within sales.
    • Sales Leads management.

    Education and Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years Motor Industry experience and a sound knowledge of sales core processes and business operations
    • Ideally at least 5 years’ experience in one or more of the following: 
    •  User Experience (UX) design.
    •  Data analytics.
    •  Digital project management.
    •  Basic Systems understanding.
    •  Project management.

    Skills, Attributes & Other requirements

    ESSENTIAL:

    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with an excellent command of the English language
    • Ability to develop implementation/ project plans from digital strategies.
    • Sound knowledge and experience in sales processes and operations.
    • Ability to contribute and implement strategic thinking.
    • Ability to present strategic concepts in a clear and concise way.
    • Project management skills.
    • Data analysis and processing skills.
    • Ability to build strong business relationships.
    • Ability to operate in a high performance team and results driven.
    • Budget management and an understanding of fundamental financial principles.
    • Ms. Office (Powerpoint/Excel/Word, etc…
