    Requirements:

    • Post graduate degree from a top tier University in Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science
    • Master's degree or MBA is highly advantageous
    • Minimum 4-5 years’ relevant experience within a strategy firm with specific experience in Digital Strategy.
    • Experience in proposing digital initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    You’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers, Senior Managers and above:
    • Drive each assignment through to its natural conclusion
    • Direct the quantitative analysis, assess the depth required for each assignment, translate the analysis into useful findings and quality assure the results
    • Direct the source and level of data gathering necessary and judge the necessity of client interviews and the strategic content of those interviews
    • Knowledge of modeling and financial performance
    • Support clients to implement organisational change through various types of client engagement and use of change management processes
    • Manage clients’, internal leadership and other relevant stakeholder’s relationships.
    • Manage work steam risks, governance and project administration (including project profitability, scope and timelines)
    • Apply logical and creative thinking to drive fact-based insights
    • Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo
    • Ability to work independently while simultaneously being able to forge productive team relationships
    • Build project deliverables in partnership with project leaders and do quality assurance on the junior team members’ deliverables
    • Maintain an external mind-set, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic / geopolitical trends
    • Contribute to capability building for the Strategy& function (e.g. Recruiting, Training, Knowledge Management, etc.)
    • Be involved in the financial management of clients
    • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
    • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
    • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
    • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
    • Train, coach, and supervise staff
    • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
    • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

    Additional skill requirements:

    • Business-level fluency in English
    • Work cross functionally with PwC competencies in a seamless and cohesive manner
    • Be culturally and diversity aware and supportive of our South African and African contexts
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
    • Drive projects effectively in a cross-functional environment, including an ability to motivate and focus people and resources
    • Mastery in creating PowerPoint presentations, storylines, and executive summaries for external and internal stakeholders
    • Excellent technical skills to process large quantities of data in an error-free manner
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to facilitate interaction across hierarchies and functions
    • Consider both client and financial implications when making decisions
    • Understand the broader service offerings to enable identification of business opportunities
    • Contribute to shaping proposals and propositions across countries, functions, sectors and accounts
    • Adhere to and promote quality and risk management standards
    • Display excellent project management skills to deliver high quality work on time and to budget
    • Review reports and analyses to be in line with client expectations and requirements
