    Direct Sales Representative

     

    Description

    • Objective: To promote key products to Retail, Corporate as well as Dispensing Doctors on both originator and generic ranges within the Ethicare product portfolios.

    Main Duties

    • To effectively manage the territory.
    • To promote both generic and originator product portfolios at customer level.
    • Provide ongoing customer support.
    • Add value to an entrepreneurial climate.
    • Achieve market share objectives and assist in achieving sales targets.
    • Effective territory expense and control management.
    • Relationship management.
    • Tracking, analysing and improving market share.

    Requirements

    • Product knowledge on Aspen / Ethicare and competitor products.
    • Effective territory management.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Administrative skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Qualifications And Experience

    • Matric qualification.
    • Tertiary Life Sciences qualification would be advantageous.
    • Candidate should have 3 – 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the “back shop” (Dispensing/Higher Scheduled Products- Sch3+)
    • Candidate should ideally have experience in the Gastrointestinal-, Allergy-, Urology- & Respiratory- sector
    • Knowledge & experience of the relevant Area (Territory: Pretoria East, Ellisras, Limpopo, Mpumalanga up to Middelburg )- Preferably called on the Pharmacies.
    • Cemented relationships in the different channels (Independent-, Corporate- and Dispensing Doctors) would be an advantage.
    • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
    • Existing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in in the different channels and Areas within the region, would be of benefit
