Grade 12 plus an appropriate undergraduate (NQF level 7) qualification in Agriculture or equivalent as recognized by SAQA. Minimum of 5 years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level. A valid driver`s license (with exception of people with disabilities). Proof of completion of SMS pre- entry certificate must be submitted before appointed.

Knowledge and understanding of agricultural extension and advisory regulations, policies and plans. Working experience and knowledge of agricultural environment. DUTIES :
Facilitate the provision of agricultural extension support services. Ensure agricultural programmes coordination and linkages with stakeholders. Manage food security and poverty alleviation programmes. Establish and maintain good relations within the department and all stakeholders. Manage and utilise resources (financial, human and physical) in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.
