Key Performance Areas
Provide strategic leadership by directing and leading the maintenance and management of all infrastructure assets in transport, including the entire road network and local stormwater management system, completed public transport and non-motorised transport networks and related street furniture
Direct the informal settlement network and infrastructure maintenance and plant
Direct maintenance and management in the four areas, eight districts and 20 depots across the entire Cape Town metropole as well as the head office component
Ensure compliance with the relevant sections of the MFMA and SCM Policy, together with the CMF and CMG.
General management of Roads Infrastructure Management department, including financial, people and risk management and ensuring sound governance principles are applied.
