    Director, Software Solutions Consulting

    Overview

    The Software Solutions Consulting Director acts as the primary technical resource to the account management teams and their clients, articulating software technology and product capabilities to business and technical stakeholders. Our Software Solutions team partners with clients, suppliers, and internal resources to uncover and understand software requirements and create a comprehensive software solution. Daily activities of this role include understanding client workflows and requirements, identifying gaps and defining solutions by working with Product and Engineering to design new functionality implementations. Additional areas of responsibility: sales support, on-going training for the Account Management team, responses to technical and functional elements of RFPs/RFIs, and maintenance of the Act-On demonstration environment.
    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical leadership in the sales, design, and delivery phases of client projects.
    • Develop technical strategy and execution around onboarding our customers and continuously driving value once they’ve launched
    • Build and evolve workshops and services that bring value to customers efficiently and promptly
    • Collaborate with Sales to discover, scope, present, and sell Service offerings
    • Own key Services metrics, including bookings, revenue recognition, billable utilization, capacity planning, and CSAT surveys
    • Create best practice documentation such as deployment guides, validation tools, training videos, and FAQ’s
    • Synthesize and communicate industry insights and customer feedback to our Customer Experience, Product Management, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams
    • Foster a team culture that is collaborative, inclusive, and respectful

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree with 10+ years of direct experience leading an engineering or consulting team for a developer-focused/technical SaaS company or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience building and managing teams of solution architects, solution engineers, technical consultants, or similar roles in software businesses
    • Familiarity with modern SaaS tools that form the Digital Experience Stack including tools for experimentation, translation, eCommerce integrations, value prop of CMSs, and latest digital platform experience trends
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 50%
    • Ability to perform essential functions of the job

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience in Client software solutions design
    • Experience in business case development
    • Experience or certification in scrum master or release train engineer role
    • SDLC experience with enterprise systems, especially with WMS, WCS, or WES
