Dispatch Controller - Garsfontein at Ampath

Purpose of Position:

• To monitor the daily progress of dispatching Activities and to co-ordinate urgent unscheduled despatch requests.

Requirements:

• Grade 12, Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB and/or A)

Required Experience:

• Experience as Despatch Controller, Knowledge: Basic Vehicle Maintenance, Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: National Traffic Rules and Regulations, Knowledge: Transport related procedures and processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath, Monitor and co-ordinate the daily despatch Activities in order to ensure the optimal utilisation of drivers and messengers, Monitor the Liquid Nitrogen levels to ensure sufficient stock for the lab employees, Perform administrative tasks in order to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate and accessible
