    Domestic Marketing Manager

    Minimum Requirements    
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BCom (Hons) Marketing Management (Essential/Minimum or)
    • BCom (Hons) (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum or)
    • B Eng (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum)
    • Management Development Programme (Essential/Minimum)

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 8-10 years Necessary experience in a Marketing, Commercial, Deal-Structuring or Legal environment. Proven leadership and managerial capabilities. Deep understanding of marketing fundamentals (i.e., pricing, delivery strategy, value chain dynamics, net back calculations). Strong business acumen of technical characteristics, market dynamics and commodity applications. Knowledge of contract management. High-level of attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong verbal, and written communication. (Essential/Minimum)      Management

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
    • Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Ideal Candidate Profile (Includes but not limited to):

    • To grow the Company's competitive position in Power, Metals, Steam, FCA / Buy-In and other Domestic market segments as directed.
    • To define the positioning of the company's products, and to develop and execute marketing, sales and commercial strategies that differentiate Exxaro and promote the company's products in the domestic market.
    • To continuously identify opportunities to expand the company's market share in the domestic market through new product offerings, partnerships, or distribution channels.
    • To enable the Market to Resources value chain in collaboration with the business units, and relevant functions, while ensuring Value in Use initiatives are executed.
    • To build and maintain strong relationships with domestic customers, understanding their needs, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
    • To continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives and adjust as necessary to optimise results.
    • To lead and guide contract and operations specialist teams towards the successful delivery of the domestic marketing strategy, creating an environment conducive to delivering Exxaro’s growth and revenue ambitions while fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
