• Meridian Wine Distribution is looking for a Driver Assistant for our renowned liquor distribution team in Sandton, Gauteng. This role involves assisting with loading, unloading, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering stock to customers according to delivery schedules.
• Interact with customers in a respectful and professional manner.
• Confirm delivery details with customers where required.
• Report customer delivery concerns to the driver or supervisor.

• Verify delivery documentation before departure. 
• Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage. 
• Follow delivery schedules and instructions provided by the driver.

• Support team members during delivery operations. 
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and improve performance.

Experience and Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) 
• 1–2 years’ experience in delivery or distribution environment
• Ability to lift and move stock safely
• Valid right to work in South Africa
• Ability to work flexible hours and in varying weather conditions
