Sensofinity is a leading South African consumer electronics distributor, we are looking for a highly talented Copywriter & Content Producer to join our Cape Town team. You will be responsible for the creation and crafting of clear, consumer-centric copy that’s in-line with what we do! We are a young and dynamic team and we are looking for hard-working, switched on people with integrity to join us.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Taking care of all copy related to the products we sell online, product titles, converting supplied product descriptions into consumer attractive text, that means having a good understanding and interest in consumer electronics
• Writing, editing, proof-reading copy and planning content themes marketing campaigns, (including sales, promotions, email newsletters, social media content calendars, app push notifications, PR, Retail Marketing partnerships etc.)
• Understand marketing and/or creative briefs and work with our team to create attractive copy that brings our concepts to life
• Researching and keeping the team abreast of competitor trends and best practices with regards to communications
• Supporting us to make sure on-site copy works effectively for search engine optimization purposes
• Assisting with customer service

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task
• Very strong interpersonal skills and experience of marshalling cross-departmental resources towards daily goals and objectives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in the English language, that means above 80% in English first language matric diploma

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years working in E-learning/ copywriting / content production and/or related digital communications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in communications, copywriting, English language or related degree
• Experience in an e-commerce environment (advantageous)
• Ability to run projects according to basic project management processes and protocols
• Experience working with project plans and project management tools, including Asana
• A high level of attention to detail and great organisational abilities are a prerequisite to succeeding in this role
