E-learning Designer (Northern Suburbs (Cape) at PEP

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• To coordinate tasks for E-learning and digital-based learning,  in the People Support: Learning & Development Department to ensure digital  learning and learning materials are developed and delivered across PEP.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Digital learning solutions
• Digital Content Design
• Video Development and Design
• Learning Management System Administration
• E-learning process management 
• Reporting and Analytics: E Learning
• Stakeholder engagement 
• Ad hoc responsibilities

Requirements

• Experience in instructional design; and 
• Instructional Design qualification / Relevant Bachelors Degree 
• At least 3+  years’ experience working in a similar environment 
• Experience with online learning platforms
• Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Computer literate (Google Suite)
• Knowledge and competency in video editing software (Wondershare, Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Knowledge of Canva application will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Articulate (Rise 360)

Typing skills 

• Strong networking skills
• Admin skills (planning, organising, prioritising and scheduling)
• Be proactive in order to solve problems
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and similar platforms 
• Understanding of development of Learning material
• Passionate about  Learning
• Interest in online instructional design
• Creative
