    Efficient Cook

    JOB PURPOSE: 

    • Plans, prepare and cooks food items for crew onboard
    • Keep the kitchen organised and running efficiently
    • Proper food handling and sanitation in kitchen area
    • Following food storage procedures
    • Adhering to HACCP standards
       

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

    • In possession of an Efficient Cook SAMSA qualification
    • Proof of Seafarer Medical Certificate
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience

    • Food Safety
    • Teamwork
    • Commitment to quality of food
    • Cleanliness, adhering to HACCP standards
    • Attention to detail and decision-making
