Efficient Cook

- Experience 2 years
- Location Western Cape
- City Cape Town
- Job Field Catering / Confectionery
JOB PURPOSE:
- Plans, prepare and cooks food items for crew onboard
- Keep the kitchen organised and running efficiently
- Proper food handling and sanitation in kitchen area
- Following food storage procedures
- Adhering to HACCP standards
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- In possession of an Efficient Cook SAMSA qualification
- Proof of Seafarer Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Food Safety
- Teamwork
- Commitment to quality of food
- Cleanliness, adhering to HACCP standards
- Attention to detail and decision-making
