    EHOD: Sme Indirect Channels

    Take end-to-end responsibility of Vodacom Business Mobile for the Indirect channel; Grow Mobile (sales and revenue) and meet all KPI’s across current channels and develop new and underperforming channels. Grow mobile to fixed convergence for all mobile channels and increase fixed penetration in mobile base as well as grow other applicable services to the mobile base (insurance, IOT, etc) Govern and maintain all strategic relationships internally and externally. Be the face of the indirect mobile channel for all partners and provide strategic and operational direction to all channel business partners as well as internal stakeholders. Improve customer experience at retail level and at product level. Take ownership of commercial elements related to the function.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Maintain all key partner, customer and internal stakeholder relationships
    • Drive models for expansion for fixed to mobile convergence and other services such as financial, security and IOT
    • Structure and launch incentive models to grow mobile and fixed revenues
    • Work with the LOB’s to deliver relevant products and appropriate partner and customer journeys
    • Manage Business Performance
    • Develop a nimble and coherent on-boarding application function

    Key performance indicator

    • Sales Operations: To retain existing accounts as well as leverage off existing corporate customers who have a need for enterprise mobile and converged solutions. To provide input into commercial negotiations for purposes of concluding master agreements.
    • Channel Development and Sales Revenue Growth: To focus on increasing net sales revenue per portfolio. The revenue objective will be based on the total revenue per account which will be increased by providing mobility solutions and by increasing the number of product/ service sold.
    • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: To establish relationships with key personnel within selected corporate accounts with regards to the input of the marketing of new products and understanding their needs.
    • People Management: Develop and Manage the team of Sales Professionals Core competencies, knowledge and experience
    • Understanding of the SA telecommunication landscape
    • Understanding of Companies customer requirements
    • Understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate it as viable appealing market offerings
    • Understanding of SA business landscape
    • Understanding of the Value Chain Analysis with regards to various customer businesses. Key performance indicators
    • Accounts retention
    • Increase in revenue and sales volumes
    • Expansion of contacts within the customer segment Direct reports: Yes

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric essential
    • Relevant degree and/or diploma (e.g. retail; marketing; business management/finance, etc) – preferred
    • 8-10 Years’ experience in telecoms (with a 3yr degree/diploma) OR 10-12 yrs experience (with a matric) including:
    • 5 Years Retail Management- essential
    • 3 Year Franchise - advantage
    • 3 Years Financial - essential
    • 3 years senior management role - essential
