EHS Coordinator - Germinston at Ingersoll Rand

Job Summary:

• To effectively support with EHS to make sure that Ingersoll Rand and CompAir business unit are able to achieve its business goals.

Key Deliverables:

Health and Safety

• To ensure that the integrated Management is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the requirements from Ingersoll Rand Global and Local legislation
• To monitor and ensure compliance to the Integrated EHS Management System.
• To ensure data integrity and maintenance of the Integrated EHS Management System at all times.
• To report on the performance of the Integrated EHS Management System to Management for review and as a basis for any improvements.
• To compile safely files and provide monthly incident and accident reports.
• To administer and report on wellness initiatives and related activities in line with EHS Standard work roll out.
• To monitor and ensure that all pre-employment medicals and annual medicals are conducted for the employees.

Job Experience:

• 5 years’ experience in SHERQ and Administration (Essential)

Job related skills:

• Knowledge of EHS best practice principles and standards (Essential)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Essential)
• Ability to conduct analysis, identification of trends and draft reports (Essential)

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
• Samtrac Certification (Essential)
• National Diploma in Safety Management (Essential)
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent (Desirable)
