Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

• Manage the electrical and instrumentation department
• South Africa, North West, Rustenburg
• Good leadership skills. Minimum 5 Years’ experience in a Metallurgical Plant

Skills and Requirements Required:

• Computer Literacy
• Minimum 5 Years’ experience in a Metallurgical Plant
• HT switching experience. Installation and maintenance of HT and LT electrical systems
• Competent with HT protection systems
• Networks (AS-I; Profibus; Ethernet; Profinet, CANBus) Proven experience, knowledge and understanding.
• Knowledge of VSD and SIMCODE
• Knowledge and understanding of Siemens PCS7 SCADA system, programming is advantageous
• Medically fit
• Good leadership skills
• Knowledge of the HSEC System

Job Objectives: 

• Manage the electrical and instrumentation department
• Coordinate and manage continuous improvement projects
• Fault finding on Siemens 7, AS-I and Profibus
• Ensure asset care and maintenance of relevant electrical and instrumentation and process control equipment within the Plant
• Ensure compliance to the HSEC Standards and Policies
