Requirements

• B Tech or BSc: Electrical Engineering
• 8 Years relevant experience
• ECSA registration required

Key Performance Areas

• Responsible for the implementation of maintenance management (directing and controlling) for the electrical stream, technical and operational outcomes associated with infrastructure asset management within a region
• Ensures improved plant performance and availability of assets including effective cost management.
• Responsible for the operational management(directing and controlling) of the technical and operational outcomes for the electrical stream associated with infrastructure asset management within a region
• Provides effective customer service delivery and adherence to legislative requirements
• Manages the formulation and specification of specific contracts, tender documents and deviation reports, controlling and implementing contractual obligations for all repairs (breakdowns and fault finding) and maintenance and infrastructure upgrades for electrical engineering, within a region
• Directs and controls outcomes associated with utilization, productivity and performance of personnel
• Ensures a good and ethical working environment to promote and sustain motivational levels, productivity, performance and improving the quality of work environment
• Performs functions in an acting capacity
