The East and Southern African Region Technical Division encompasses a broad spectrum of activities, with five factories in our market in the Food & Beverages, and Nutrition businesses. We’re now looking for a qualified Artisan Electrician to join our team in East London factory.

A day in the life of

Artisan (Electrician).

• Installing and maintaining electrical equipment in first class working condition
• Ensuring all work carried out on premises conform to SANS code 10142-1:2003 (wiring of premises) and internal standards if more stringent in all areas of engineering, quality and safety health & environment
• Ensuring efficient safe operation of machinery by setting and adjusting devices to within allowed tolerances
• Fault finding and attending to breakdowns
• Completing the necessary administrative tasks for AMM, SHE, CDM
• To be actively involved with new project installations, CDM and MDWTe necessary administrative tasks for AMM, SHE, CDM
• To be actively involved with new project installations, CDM and MDWT
   

What Will Make You Successful

• Served Apprenticeship and qualified with a Trade Test Certificate
• A minimum of two years post apprenticeship experience in the electrical field.
• Ability to do general welding Task
• Certificate of Registration as an Installation Electrician
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
• In depth knowledge of maintenance practices
