Electrician at Status Staffing

REQUIREMENTS:

• Red Seal Qualification
• 1 – 2 years’ experience required
• Intellibus System knowledge and experience
• Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety
• Strong technical abilities and able to act decisively and quickly when necessary

DUTIES:

• Inspect all electrical wiring, connections and switches for wear and tear
• Inspect and service all distribution boards including cleaning
• Testing and calibrating of all electrical equipment
• Track and trace of any unlabeled circuits
• Track and trace of labelled circuits to confirm correct label on DB
• Inspection of panels in Electrical room for wear and tear
• Inspection of Power Factor
• Inspection of Generator and ATS
• Inspection of all changeover panels
• Inspection of all lighting
• Inspection of all riser cupboards
• Inspection of all audio visual cabling, connections and equipment including TV cabling and connections
• Replace faulty wiring, cables, switches as required
• Thermographic Repairs
• Attend to any and all audio visual and TV faults
• Attend to any and all lighting faults including Intellibus System
• Schedule and carry out earth leakage testing
• Schedule and carry out phase balancing
