Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment and production lines.
• Monitor and improve energy efficiency and electrical performance.
• Maintain electrical documentation, drawings, and schematics.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe electrical practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatves.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and production.

Minimum Requirements

• Trade Qualification (Red Seal) in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Millwright, Industrial Mechanics, or a related field.
• Registered with ECSA will be advantageous.
• 3-5 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems and automation.
• Experience with electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under presure.
• Project management skills.
• Attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
