The Parliament of South Africa is a bicameral legislature consisting of the National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces, responsible for making laws, overseeing government actions, and representing the people and provinces.
To provide employee wellbeing coordination and support services that promote promote the health, wellbeing, resilience and workplace experience of Members and Employees in Parliament.
The role delivers preventative wellbeing initiatives, provides first-line wellbeing guidance and advice, coordinates referrals and wellbeing case management activities, facilitates appropriate support interventions, and contributes to a healthy, inclusive and productive work environment in alignment with the Human Capital Shared Services Strategy.
Key Peformance Area:
Wellness Programme Development and Implementation
Employee Wellness Assistance, Guidance, and Advice (including First-Line Counselling)
Facilitation of Employee Assistance Support and Training
Employee Wellbeing Support and Case Management

To Qualify, You Must Have:
Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a Related Psychology Degree, and must be a Professionally Registered Counsellor
Professional Registration with the SACSSP or HPCSA as a Counsellor
3 years' experience as an Occupational Social Worker, Employee Wellness Practitioner, or Counsellor within the Organisational Wellness Field
Advantageous: Experience in Employee Wellbeing Programme Management, Mental Health, First Aid, and Employee Assistance Programmes
