Job description
Review energy and water profiles across stores, identify problem areas and assist stores with behaviour and process issues
Set monthly electrical and water budgets across all stores and track progress against budget
Monthly review and validation of all store water and electricity bills, resolve billing queries with Finance and stores as well as disputes with Landlords and provide technical input as required
Work with third party metering specialists to ensure metered data is accurate and energy profiles and reports are presented in a meaningful way
Review billing with third party specialists to ensure Woolworths are charged according to the most economical tariff.
Deliver on GBJ sustainability targets, energy and water savings targets
Track and report on all carbon consumption activities related to stores, compile carbon disclosure reports
Conduct regular training and awareness sessions in stores re energy and water savings techniques and practices
Investigate energy and water savings technologies and successful implementation of key projects in this area
Work closely with internal and external audit teams as well as Corporate Governance teams to ensure accurate collection and reporting of data
