    Job description
    Content Planning 

    • Develop, implement and manage a strategic social media plan tincrease brand awareness, drive engagement and build community for our brand.
    • Capture and create engaging content directly from events and on-the-ground activations for real-time social media storytelling.
    • Support the creation of, and manage, diverse content tmaintain a consistent and compelling brand presence on Instagram.
    • Develop creative concepts for short-form videos and interactive posts, leveraging platform features.

    Analytics and Performance Reporting

    • Track key metrics like impressions, interactions, follower growth, videviews, and reach and report on them monthly.
    • Use social media insights tmonitor performance and adjust content based on data-driven insights.
    • Prepare regular reports for the business, summarising social media performance and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

    Trendspotting and Innovation

    • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, viral challenges, and popular sounds across social platforms, including TikTok and Instagram, incorporating them intcontent when relevant.
    • Experiment with new content types and formats, tmaintain excitement and variety in our social media presence.

    Collaborations and Partnerships

    • Identify opportunities tcollaborate with influencers, creators, or other brands texpand reach and engage with new audiences organically.
    • Manage partnerships with UGC creators tensure their content is delivered on-time and within brand guideline.

    Minimum requirements
    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.

    Experience

    • 3 years of social media management experience, ideally in beauty and/or fashion. 
    • Experience with influencer marketing and community-building strategies.
    • Basic knowledge of videproduction techniques and editing for short-form content.
    • Familiarity with social listening and engagement tracking tools.
    • Proven track record of growing audiences and driving engagement on Instagram through organic content.

    Technical Skills

    • Proficient in content creation and mobile editing tools such as Instagram Creator Studio, TikTok’s native tools, Canva and Capcut.
    • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, including best practices for Reels, Stories, and TikTok videos.
    • Familiarity with social media management tools (Brandwatch) for content scheduling and planning will be beneficial.

    Industrial Designer

    Introduction

    • To design, model, test & produce prototypes on new equipment or improve existing ones through an understanding of technology, materials, and manufacturing methods to improve the function and usability.

    Job description  

    • Investigate, identify, evaluate and recommend commercially viable opportunities to deliver to one- and five-year plans. Integrate with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Various business units, store design team & suppliers) during development phase.
    • Interpret the store design brief, including the concept, performance, and production criteria of all new & existing equipment.
    • Convert conceptual ideas into technical drawings using relevant software.
    • Conduct research and formulate technical refinements for projects, while working on the budget of the designed item to ensure cost effectiveness.
    • Identify the suitability and availability of materials.
    • Test the design concept.
    • Integration across stakeholders (e.g. marketing, Non-Trade procurement, and various business units) to discuss and negotiate appropriate production processes, costs and commercial issues.

    Senior Wine Buyer:Wcellar

    Job description

    • Lead and coordinate the development and execution of the Category Operational Plan
    • Identify the key commercial strategies and develop quantifiable goals in order to deliver KPI's for the department 
    • Negotiate price, promotions and new lines, taking into account price tiering / product positioning and financial targets
    • Integrate with Sales Management, Trade Planning and Marketing to draw up and implement a Promotional Calendar. Plan and implement promotional strategies. Integrate with planning to ensure supplier delivery.
    • Establish category price position while applying an understanding of customer price perception, impacts on KVIs and of competitor pricing
    • Establish a commercially viable range and manage the implementation thereof, including the facilitation of assortment and space
    • Develop good working relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders
    • Review internal Woolworths performance data (sales, profit, market share, market size etc.) for the department and make comparisons against competition ito range, price,  promotions and product development
    • Ensure internal and external colleagues understand and work to deliver the department category plan
    • Review department performance versus Department Scorecard/KPI's on a regular basis 
    • Manage financial accountabilities; margins (including strategic buy-in opportunities in consultation with Merchandise Planning), incentives, trading agreements, departmental charges, sample account, buyer losses, etc. 

    Minimum requirements

    • Wine knowledge (WSET Level 2 or equivalent) is advantageous
    • Minimum of a 3-year degree / post grad qualification in relevant commercial degree.
    • 3-5 years' experience managing a team/leading people is required
    • Experience in the liquor category & adjacent categories is advantageous.
    • Ability to articulate complex concepts in clear, simple & logical terms & build compelling presentations & professional communications
    • Ability to influence internal / external partners at all levels, with various backgrounds and expertise

    Energy Manager

    Introduction

    • To manage the overall electricity and water consumption of the Woolworths Group and deliver on GBJ targets and initiatives

    Job description

    • Review energy and water profiles across stores, identify problem areas and assist stores with behaviour and process issues
    • Set monthly electrical and water budgets across all stores and track progress against budget
    • Monthly review and validation of all store water and electricity bills, resolve billing queries with Finance and stores as well as disputes with Landlords and provide technical input as required
    • Work with third party metering specialists to ensure metered data is accurate and energy profiles and reports are presented in a meaningful way
    • Review billing with third party specialists to ensure Woolworths are charged according to the most economical tariff.
    • Deliver on GBJ sustainability targets, energy and water savings targets
    • Track and report on all carbon consumption activities related to stores, compile carbon disclosure reports
    • Conduct regular training and awareness sessions in stores re energy and water savings techniques and practices
    • Investigate energy and water savings technologies and successful implementation of key projects in this area
    • Work closely with internal and external audit teams as well as Corporate Governance teams to ensure accurate collection and reporting of data
