An engineering degree (B. Eng./B.Sc. Eng.) in civil engineering.
Three (3) years of post-qualification experience in civil engineering is required.
Compulsory registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer. The disclosure of a valid unexpired driver’s license.
Duties
Engineering design and analysis of bulk pipelines and pump stations and their appurtenant structures. Perform review and approvals for bulk pipe design components.
Plan and manage engineering principles and codes of good practice for candidate engineers. Manage resources and inputs for the facilitation of resource utilization. Application of research and development procedures.
Continuous professional development to keep up with new technology and procedures within engineering, office administration, and budget planning. Draft tender documents in accordance with ECSA Stage 4. Administer construction contracts and conduct construction inspections in accordance with ECSA Stage 5 scope of service.
