EXPERIENCE:
15 years’ Experience in an engineering/built environment of which 5 years should be a senior management experience
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
Provide specialist technical support on key strategic initiatives
Facilitate an integrated business and service approach between technical/ infrastructure services and rail operations.
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of capital projects and associated expenditure.
Lead the benchmarking of specific technical and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with and support the GCEO on engagements with strategic stakeholders, e.g., strategic suppliers/ service providers to PRASA, Department of Transport, National Treasury and other SoEs e.g., Transnet.
Provide strategic advice to the GCEO in relation to technical and engineering matters to improve operational efficiencies.
Provide support/ oversight in business (technical and engineering) performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
