Qualifications & Experience    

• B-tech/ Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument Engineering.
• Must be in Possession of a Government Certificate of Competency.
• At least 6 – 8 years’ experience in a Chemical Plant environment with 5 years at management level.
• Thorough knowledge of production management theories, principles and practices.
• Financial and Cost management.
• Must have outstanding knowledge computer literacy and SAP experience.
• Outstanding knowledge of mechanical and electrical components used in the repair of explosives manufacturing equipment.
• An in-depth understanding of Osh Act Mercantile and Maritime Law, the Explosives Act and Dept. of Transport and Dept. of Trade and Industry procedures.
• Negotiating Skills.
