    Job Description & Summary

    A career in Capital Programs Excellence, within Operations Consulting, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients understand where they might have vulnerabilities and develop solutions to manage the risks involved. We prevent, respond to and remediate a wide range of business threats, risks and complex issues.

    Our team helps organisations deliver on their large scale capital programs and portfolios by providing assurance, tax, consulting, deals and forensics services across the capital program lifecycle. As part of the team, you'll utilize technology solutions to help our clients analyse, design and implement business changes related to their large scale capital programs.

    Qualifications / Certifications required:

    • BSc in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

    Experience required:

    • 3-5 years working experience, specialising in the water sector focusing on water infrastructure,  operational improvements i.e. operations of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, infrastructure asset management
    • Working with Government - local, provincial and national, 
    • Experiencing in water demand management and non revenue water reduction 
    • Experience in management consulting is required

    Responsibilities of role:

    • Keep up to date with water and environmental policies and development relating to water and ESG (Environment, Social, Governance)
    • Gathering and analysing information, formulate solutions to respond to client mandates, and developing and communicating recommendations
    • Develop client deliverables to the highest possible standards
    • Drafting of proposals for water and infrastructure projects 
    • Project management of water and infrastructure projects

    • Technical capabilities aligned to your qualifications and work experience
    • Self-motivated and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
    • Portfolio Programme and Project Management
    • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
    • Excellent Presentation and Excel skills
    • Financial analysis skills
    • Report writing skills
