    Python Developer, Kazang Connect – Cape Town

    Kazang Connect is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Python Developers to join the team. The individual should be proactive and results orientated.

    Working within the IT team, the successful applicant will be working on the Content Ready platform, the core system which enables all Kazang’s trading.

    The individual applying for this position should have passed matric, a tertiary qualification such as a Bachelor of Science as well as 3-5 year’s working experience in Python Development.

    The responsibilities of the position include:

    • Development of new, and maintenance of existing functionality on our platform. This includes new interfaces to for purchasing new content, performance and functional enhancements to the existing system, and maintenance of the underlying systems.
    • Creating and modifying reports.
    • Resolving support queries.

    Minimum requirements

    • Experience in an Object-Oriented language (Python, C# or Java). Python experience preferred and a willingness to work in Python is required.

    Main purpose of position

    The development of business growth opportunities by actioning the strategic goals of the organization and delivering a premium class service to our customers and future/potential customers.

    Key performance areas

    • Consult, negotiate and make progress on deals across all four products to the point of signing with decision makers/business owners
    • Source viable opportunities to promote the Connect Group Offering to secure required daily/ weekly / monthly quote output and build a solid pipeline of opportunities with business owners/decision makers
    • Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) where the business is currently in the market for a cash management solution
    • Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) that is currently in contract with a competitor and should form part of your future dated pipeline
    • Strive to understand your prospects business requirements to effectively provide the correct Connected solution and negotiate past objections
    • Sell our end-to-end solution and the benefits thereof
    • Build up a healthy pipeline of opportunity on the CRM system (core suite)
    • Bring in new business to exceed daily / weekly / monthly/quarterly and annual targets agreed to across Card Connect, Kazang Connect, Capital Connect and Cash Connect.
    • Manage & retain relationships with key industry influencers
    • Grow one’s available opportunities via referral business events/tradeshows
    • Understand the Connect Group offering fully to best consult with your prospect base and ensure maximum client satisfaction once the client is converted.
    • Assist in transferring the relationship post installation to the Account Manager/Hybrid managing the customer thereafter
    • Manage prospects expectation post signing up a Connected Product.

    Manage the customer portfolio allocated to you by ensuring:

    • Manage declared BTV to Actual BTV processed monthly/quarterly/annually
    • Manage customers not utilizing device and try reducing to a fully active portfolio
    • Limit technical call outs by ensuring efficient and thorough switch on training as well as ongoing training with the device users/sites
    • Renewal negotiations to begin @12 months remaining on the current contract
    • Keep the customer appraised of any changes or new product developments and services
    • Settlement process is understood, and client is trained on instant access and online client portal, Webflo
    • Working with Finance on any escalated queries that they require assistance with.
    • Feedback and quick resolution to customer queries acknowledgement of email within 24 hours and resolution within 48 hours
    • Training and upskilling of new and existing customers on an ongoing basis

    Sales Executive, Kazang Connect – Cape Town, Durban & Johannesburg

    The responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

    Sales:

    • Meeting Weekly and monthly Performance requirements and sales targets

    Administration:

    • Contract, KSIS and other internal process administration
    • Adhere to requirements of the business when placing devices.
    • Ensure contracts are submitted timeously and complete, readable and valid - Monthly Rep contract register.
    • Number of actions and high quality of information logged, position on the competition table - monthly KSIS action reports.

    A vacancy exists for Card Payment Specialist in Card Connect, a Division of Main Street 1723 Pty Ltd, in KwaZulu- Natal, Western Cape and Gauteng.

    Card Connect is looking for entrepreneurial and passionate sales consultants who will aggressively knock-on doors to increase market shares for Card Connect. We are looking for a strong individual to join the team who can build a strong pipeline of business through cold calling and referrals.

    The individual must have the ability to negotiate with business owners and decision makers. The individual should be able to counter a client’s objections effectively and sell the benefit and easy payment solution of using our POS device.

    The responsibilities of the position include:

    • Meeting monthly GP and placement sales targets
    • Ensure 100% data integrity and submission of sales information on due dates
    • Ensure pipeline timeframes and procedures are adhered to
    • Solid motivations for new sales based on factual information – all necessary documentation presented at the time of submission
    • Regular meetings and leverage of leads from CRE department
    • Escalation and continuous updates on sites in deployment
    • Weekly check to ensure that the sales report reflects deals correctly
    • Ensure that all sites are pre-qualified in line with criteria
    • Ensure that every possible action is taken to sort unprofitable sites out quickly
    • Ensuring that sites on the nil transaction are actioned within specified timeframes
    • Accurate and timeous feedback on Key Account information as required
    • Ensure that company specific projects are delivered on time with required output

    In order to be considered for the position, the following requirements must be met:

    • Matric
    • Min 3-5 years Sales experience within Acquiring / POS / Ecommerce
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong negotiations skills with the ability to close deals
    • MS Office proficiency
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
