    ERP Solutions Architect

    PURPOSE

    • The purpose of a Solutions Architect is to profitably conclude software sales with new customers. 

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

    General:

    • Achieve an assigned sales target through a structured sales engagement process.
    • Products sold include primarily Sage Enterprise Management, Sage Enterprise Management HR, Sage 300cloud, Sage 300cloud People, Sage Evolution, Sage CRM, Sage Financials, Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition, related Third Party Products, AccTech developed solutions, Professional Services, Support Agreements and other AccTech offerings
    • Actively prospect for new customers in the assigned sales territory. Territories are primarily Gauteng but nationally in South Africa and worldwide as opportunities arises.
    • Effectively plan and manage your time to maximise revenue generating activities. 
    • Advise customers on business issues to uncover business opportunities.
    • Understand customer requirements and craft solutions to address business needs in conjunction with the relevant BU and other directors where necessary.
    • Prepare and present proposals to customers.
    • Prepare, present and demonstrate solutions to customers and where necessary with the relevant BU director or assigned resource.
    • Qualify leads using prescribed guidelines and appropriately reassign those leads belonging in other territories.
    • Manage and build an AccTech relationship with customers to close additional opportunities.
    • Effectively plan and manage your time to maximise customer facing activities.
    • Participate in and contribute to marketing activities.
    • Work with other business units to make their offerings and demand generation activities more attractive to your industry and territory.
    • Maintain AccTech branding standards by always subscribing to marketing standards.
    • Leverage marketing initiatives and initiate own marketing initiatives through marketing process.
    • As accurately as possible maintain and submit sales forecasts using the prescribed systems. 
    • Complete administrative tasks as required including the updating of CRM with sales activities. 
    • Participate as a member of the AccTech team to contribute to our overall success. 
    • Fully understand AccTech’s Standard Terms and Conditions to ensure all opportunities comply with them.
    • Timeously submit commission claims as agreed or as prescribed in the sales process


    QUALIFICATIONS

    • A tertiary Financial and or Marketing qualification. 

     

     

    EXPERIENCE 

    • A minimum of 5 – 8 years’ experience, preferably in ERP solutions. 
    • Knowledge on marketing and sales within the professional services environment would be preferable.
    • In-depth working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning and Logistics with a strong focus on business improvement.
    • Project Management experience within a consulting environment. 
    • Experience in business process re-engineering as well as a strong customer service ethic.
    • Understanding of the key macro-economic drivers and national imperatives of the supply chain. 
    • Above average written and verbal communication at all levels of management and staff is essential, this includes a reasonable amount of media interaction.
    • Ability to conceptualise and provide input to company strategic initiatives and integrate them into control and implementation plans.
    • Must have hands on experience to create, present and handle presentations at senior management level internally and externally.
