Establishment Systems Controller - eThekwini at eThekwini Municipality

Job Purpose    

• Responsible for management of the Master Staff Establishment in terms of the Municipal Systems Act, Section 66 of 2000.
• This post reports to SENIOR MANAGER (HC INFORMATION SYSTEMS)

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Manage the initial processing of the council approved structures/organogram of the municipality.
• Responsible for maintaining the system.
• Directs and controls the key performance indicators and outcomes of personnel.
• Provision of support to other systems such as eCareers, KPA data base and Compensation Management Database.
• Provide statistical information and reporting such as Scarce Skills, OFO Codes and any other statistics as may be required.

Essential Requirements    

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in one of the following fields: Human Resources Management or Public Administration or Public Management or Office Management and Technology or Business Administration or Business Management or Work-study or Operations Management or equivalent.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 3 Years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements    

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in one of the following fields: Human Resources Management or Public Administration or Public Management or Office Management and Technology or Business Administration or Business Management or Work-study or Operations Management.
• 4 Years relevant experience.
