Exam Marker - (1630) at University of Venda

Job requirements:

Honours degree and be pursuing a Master’s qualification, or hold a Master’s degree and be pursuing a Doctoral qualification, in the field of Hydrology and Water Resources and Mining and Environmental Geology.

Duties:

To provide academic marking support for the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Agriculture (FSEA) as follows:

• Assess student tests and examinations in line with approved marking schemes.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to enhance student learning and development.
• Ensure fairness and consistency by participating in moderation and standardization processes.
• Record marks accurately and within required deadlines.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
• Uphold confidentiality and academic integrity, including identifying potential misconduct.
• Collaborate with lecturers, course coordinators, and fellow markers to ensure quality assurance.
