Examiner of Driving Licenses: Grade A at Swartland Local Municipality

Salary: R 268 104 – R 348 000 (T-09 of a Category 4 Local Authority)

Requirements:

• Registered by the Provincial Administration as an Examiner of Driving Licenses and Examiner of Motor Vehicles as a recommendation.
• In possession of a valid A Grade Diploma for Examiner for Driving licenses and
• A Grade Diploma for an Examiner of Motor Vehicles as a recommendation,
• To have a valid Code A, and Code EC driving licenses.
• No criminal record.
• Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, fluent in at least 2 of the official languages e.g. Afrikaans and English, and must be able to work under pressure.

• In possession of a valid A Grade Diploma for an Examiner of Motor Vehicles.

Qualification: Grade 12; and Computer Literacy: MS Office
Experience: 2-5 years relevant experience
Job Purpose:

• Rendering tasks/ activities associated with the testing and issuing of learners and driving licenses through the application of the National Road Traffic Act. Attending to administrative reporting and record keeping requirements, to ensure that drivers conform with the requirements of the Road Traffic Act and regulations contributing to the safety of all road users.
