PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 

• To coordinate office activities, provide administrative assistance and co-ordinate PS projects for the Chief Executive: People Support and the PS Senior Leaders. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• General management of executive’s office
• Coordination of executive’s schedule
• Office reception and screening of calls
• Administration of monthly payments & budget control
• Compilation of reports
• Preparation of presentations for Executive & Senior Leaders 
• Planning and organising functions and meetings
• Travel and accommodation arrangements
• Typing of correspondence
• General administration duties (ordering stationery, filing, etc)

Requirements

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

• Office Management qualification or Human Resources qualification advantageous
•  Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Assistant to senior management
•  Computer Literacy: Excel, Power Point,  G suite advantageous
• Competencies required: Service orientation, problem solving; attention to detail, decision making,     stress  tolerance, building and maintaining relationships and communication
