    External Sales Representative

    About the job

    • We are looking for an energetic & dependable External Sales Representative for our division based in Brackenfell. 

    Purpose:

    • Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and market penetration by effectively selling the company’s products.


    Requirements:

    •  3+ years proven, related experience in sales
    •  Ability to lead & motivate team members
    •  Accuracy and attention to detail
    •  Good verbal & written communication skills across all levels
    •  Self-motivation
    •  Initiative
    •  Matric, post matric qualification will be an advantage
    •  Own reliable transport


    Responsibilities (not inclusive):

    •  Establish, develop and maintain good business relationships and communication channels with existing customers in order to sell company products, with specific focus on the sale of manufacture to order and value-adding products.
    •  Develop and maintain technical knowledge of the company’s product offerings in order to provide customers with timeous, accurate information and advice on ordering.
    •  Understand production and distribution processes and systems to ensure accurate information is given to customers.
    •  Develop good working relationships with production and distribution to assist in and ensure excellent customer service.
    •  Find market solutions.
    •  Participate in the establishment of a system of communication involving sales reports, regular team meetings and feedback, in the drive for continuous performance improvement.
    •  Identify and resolve customer concerns speedily and effectively.
    •  Maintain historical records on customers and sales to assist in evaluation of trends, customer needs and alignment with business strategy.
    •  Handle customer complaints and returns as per company procedure.

     

    Monitoring and Control:

    •              Sales & financial reports
    •              Customer log sheets
    •              Customer and peer feedback
