REQUIREMENTS
Grade12

BUDGET AND TREASURY OFFICE

• Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent (NQF7)
• Certificate In MFMP/CPMD
• 4years years relevant experience in a municipal environment
• Valid Driver's license.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Sound knowledge of Municipal Finance Management Act, Municipal Systems Act and Municipal Property Rates Act.
• Municipal Revenue Knowledge Financial & Systems Knowledge Management & Leadership Skills

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Direct the implementation of specific procedures, systems and controls associated with key functional areas embodied in the income section.
• Executing specific tasks associated with income by authorizing EFT payments in the bank. Perform specific procedures associated with reconciliation of income transactional data. Processing transactional data referring to specific transactional documentation and recordings, attending to amendments and posting transactions to income votes
• Executing procedures with respect to reconciliation of rates, refuse and electricity. Manages applications and sequences associated with recording, adjustment and updating of the municipality's debtors related transactions and accounts.
