Fabric Administrator at Truworths

Key Responsibilities    

• Full fabric order process e.g. briefing suppliers, following up on quotes and fabric specs, payment of invoices
• Capturing received data and maintaining a well organised database (whether electronically and/or in hard copy)
• Updating database with movement of raw materials
• Reconciliation and processing of invoices against goods received versus issues to production orders
• Filing of hardcopy documents
• Responsible for all associated documents required for strategic stock
• Liaise with Jobbers
• Attend to new fabric supplier applications/supplier forms and maintain supplier relationships
• Follow up and capture fabric prices
• File and sorting fabric hangers

Qualifications and Experience    

• Grade 12
• Preferably 2-3 years experience in a similiar role within the manufacturing/production environment
• Previous fabric experience is an advantage
• Good computer literacy – Specifically strong MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
• Knowledge of iSync advantageous
