    Facilities Manager - M2

    The Role

    The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintenance and installation of all equipment, processes, facilities and infrastructure within the Sales Area. 

    Management of construction projects and control of site security, canteen and any other additional responsibilities.  Coordination of the department to ensure a high level of performance in emergency, preventative and predictive maintenance along with reliability engineering and process improvement are a focal point.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recommending, Planning, organizes, schedules, and directs the design, maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of organization facilities.
    • Oversees and plans annual facility spending for office services, building and grounds maintenance, and facility expansion or improvement projects.
    • May direct the safety and/or security functions of the facilities.
    • Direct the maintenance team in both building and equipment maintenance.
    • Identify and implement targets for measuring the performance of the Maintenance department.
    • Ensure continuous improvement in Preventive Maintenance.
    • Responsible for budget and completion timeline.
    • Ensure compliance with the ISO Standards Quality, Safety and Environmental Systems ISO 90001, 14001 and 45001.
    • Contractor selection to achieve the most efficient and economical results.
    • Deal with and coordinate contractors and vendors involved in maintenance, construction and consolidation.
    • Monitor that all building systems are checked and tested regularly and maintained in accordance with supplier specifications.
    • Manage relationships with landlords, service providers and environmental stakeholders.

    Profile Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
    • GCC Certificate
    • Qualified and experienced in Project Management.
    • Minimum 10 years' experience in Facilities Maintenance/ Engineering or equivalent related functions.
    • Enhanced knowledge of; Production Plants & Process, Electrical Maintenance Procedures, Equipment & Machinery, Codes & Health and Safety, Best Practices, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 41001, Technical Drawing, Contract Management.
    • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
    • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management.
    • Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter.
    • Strong procurement and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with clients, and peers.
