    Facilities Manager - Sandton

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement and maintain comprehensive health, safety, environment, and quality protocols to safeguard the well-being of employees and visitors within our facilities.
    • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure prompt corrective action.
    • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to deliver effective health and safety training programs, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
    • Plan and execute a diverse range of company events and activities, including team-building exercises, holiday celebrations, professional development workshops, and managing the in-house coffee shop.
    • Manage the facilities and cleaning team to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the premises.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the in-house coffee shop, ensuring it meets high standards of service.
    • Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that company events align with organisational goals and values, while also staying within budgetary constraints.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience in facility management, including managing hygiene and cleaning staff.
    • Proven track record in facilities management, with a strong emphasis on health and safety compliance.
    • Thorough understanding of relevant regulations and best practices in occupational health and safety, as well as environmental and quality management.
    • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
    • Creative flair and attention to detail, coupled with a passion for fostering a vibrant company culture.
