Factotum at Tshwane University of Technology

• The Department of Technical Services in the Directorate of Building and Estate seeks to appoint a Factotum on a one year fixed-term contract at the Giyani Campus.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Academic Qualification:

• A relevant completed apprenticeship or proof of passing a trade test in terms of the provision of section 13(2) of the Manpower Training Act,1981, as amended or a Certificate issued under the provision of section 28 or 30 of the Manpower Training Act, 1981

Experience:

• Two (2) years relevant experience as an Apprentice Artisan in a specific trade.

Knowledge and Skills
The incumbent must have knowledge and experienceto be able to do the following

• Painting
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Electrical repairs
• General building maintainance
