Field Guiding Skills Programme: Addo Elephant National Park
Applications are hereby invited from unemployed youth who reside in the communities adjacent to our National Parks who wish to start a career in conservation. SANParks, in partnership with Cathsseta, is offering a unique opportunity to participate in a Skills Programme – in Field Guiding for a period of 6 months with a monthly stipend of R2 695.00 and a further fixed term contract of another one (1) year. SANParks is under no obligation to employ the learner upon completion of the programme.
Requirements
Reside in the village/area within 1-100km from the National Park.
Under the age of 35.
South African Citizen.
Grade 12.
Clear criminal record.
Not have benefited from other SANParks skills programmes/learnership/internship etc before.
