    Finance Business Partner

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    BankservAfrica form part of the South African National Payments System and are a trusted partner of the financial industry, including banking institutions, and therefore require that employees adhere to unwavering standards of honesty and transparency in performing their duties.

    PURPOSE

    As a Finance Business Partner you will be required to develop a framework that will provide financial analysis, support and guidance to Shared Services BU and to improve the accuracy of financial data and systems, and also support and monitor cost, support the management of key contracts, generate in-depth analysis, insight and challenge to support the business planning.

    You will engage with the following stakeholders:

    • Cost Centre Managers 
    • Product Managers
    • Customers and Suppliers 
    • Lenders 
    • Senior Management & Executives
    • ERP Providers
    •  SARS, PASA, Banks 

    Your key responsibilities include:

    •  Develop operational initiatives to achieve financial goals.
    • Monitor and manage expenses within the established budget.
    •  Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures for operational efficiency.
    •  Keep abreast of trends, legislation and best practices within the financial management field and industry in which the company operates in order to optimise service offering and delivery
    •  Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
    • Understand the profitability and growth drivers for the business and ensure that the key insights are well understood as far as it relates to the shared services area
    • Support and contribute company scenario planning and long-term strategy planning as far as it relates to shared services planned spend and investment

    QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE

    •  CA(SA) /CIMA• Required computer literacy levels
    • Accpac/Sage (Advanced)
    • IBM Analytics 
    •  CaseWare 
    • Excel and Power Point

    EXPERIENCE

    •  Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in Finance and Commercial functions
    •  Experience working in a medium to large organization 
    • Planning, Reporting and Performance Management experience
    • Experience in managing others
